We’re so insanely spoiled by this winter wonderland we live in that some of us are occasionally heard saying ridiculous things like, “Vermont is okay, but I prefer Vail,” and “I used to ski a lot, but I don’t have a car anymore, so I mostly hide in my apartment playing Xbox until the snow melts.”
In an effort to help such sentiments subside, here goes the first of two special DigBoston sports issues this season (the other comes in January, halfway through the ski and snowboard schedule).
